LONDON – Petrofac has signed a three-year partnership with Intoware to develop and deploy workflow automation software tailored to the needs of the oil and gas industry.
According to Petrofac, development of ‘WorkfloPlus Oil and Gas’ will further improve efficiency gains resulting from digitalizing maintenance and inspection activity for clients.
The software is designed to automatically generate digital workflows, schedules and reports for users, eliminating time-consuming, manual preparations.
By combining the use of digital twin and connected worker technology alongside WorkfloPlus Oil and Gas, Petrofac claims to have has digitalized more than 1,500 North Sea inspections, leading to a 200% increase in offshore productivity.
The software converts existing paper-based and human processes into digital work instructions that are accessible via desktops, mobile, and wearable computing devices.
It can also be integrated with computer maintenance management systems.
