GLOUCESTER, UK – Advanced Insulation has agreed to acquire Bardot, a specialist engineer and designer of subsea facilities based in southern France.
A newly formed company, AIS Bardot, will operate independently but will also collaborate with Advanced Insulation to expand the product offering to both companies’ clients.
Greg Hue will serve as country manager for France, continuing to lead sales for AIS’ marine division (Manuplas) while integrating AIS Bardot’s products and solutions into the portfolio.
Bardot Group’s specialties are polyurethane molded products, including bend restrictors and bend stiffeners. The company has also developed subsea buoyancy, water intake risers, ballast systems, and clamps for the oil and gas and renewables industries.
