Seadrill acquires shares in Asia Offshore Drilling

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill Ltd. has acquired the minority holding of 33.76% of the share capital of Asia Offshore Drilling Ltd. (AOD).

The consideration for the shares is $31 million. Completion of the share transfer and payment of the consideration is expected by the end of the month.

Following completion, Seadrill will, through its subsidiary Seadrill Rig Holding Co. Ltd., hold 100% of the shares in AOD.
