Jadestone Energy Plc's Bert-Jaap Dijkstra, executive director and CFO, has decided to leave the company to pursue other career opportunities and repatriate back to the Netherlands to rejoin his family. The company has commenced a search for his replacement.

Akselos has named Dr. Claus Reimers chief product and technology officer.

University of Houston has named Debalina Sengupta COO of its Energy Transition Institute.

OEG Energy Group Ltd. has selected Rolf de Vries as subsea director for its offshore wind division, OEG Renewables.

Fugro’s board of management has appointed Luh Shyang Loo group director for the Asia-Pacific region and member of the executive leadership team, effective Oct. 1.

EPI Group, a provider of geoscience and geophysical technical services to the energy industry, has named Lee Clarke managing director for sustainable energy services. 

Claus Wattendrup has been appointed Vattenfall's UK country head.

ABL expands its global asset integrity management business for the US under the leadership of Luis Gonzalez, who has joined ABL from a senior asset management role with Jacobs. 

SPIE Global Services Energy has appointed Jeronimo Oliveira director of the Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit.

The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association has named Alex Beltrao director of compliance.

Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK has bolstered its offshore team with the appointment of Jamie Ward as offshore sales engineer.

Weatherford International Plc's board of directors has appointed Steven Beringhause a director with a term expiring at the 2025 annual meeting of shareholders.

Lucy Craig, DNV's senior vice president and director of Growth, Innovation and Digitalization, Energy Systems, has been elected as a board member for WindEurope.

Andy Webster has been appointed as director of digital to lead KBR’s digital engineering team.

Richard Clark has joined GATE Energy's board of directors.

Deputy Chair of Ørsted Andy Brown is the Energy Institute's (EI) new president, succeeding Juliet Davenport , who is stepping down after two years, but she will remain on the council. Two new vice presidents, Cordi O’Hara and Tim Pick, were also appointed, and Laura Hardiman and Natasha Patel also joined the EI Council.

Energy Workforce & Technology Council (EWTC) board of directors has elected four new members to its advisory board: Courtney BrownieJeff BusbyJennifer Simons  and Jocelyn Waggoner.

Company news

Woodside has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding common stock of Tellurian, including its owned and operated US Gulf Coast Driftwood LNG 
development opportunity.

DOF Group has agreed to acquire Maersk Supply Service for about $1.112 billion from A.P. Møller Holding. Maersk Supply Service will be incorporated into a new subsidiary, DOF Offshore Holding Denmark.

TGS and PGS confirmed that their previously announced merger formally completed on July 1. CEO Kristian Johansen is based in Houston and will continue to drive TGS’ strategic initiatives.

Technip Energies and SBM Offshore have formally implemented Ekwil, a 50:50 floating offshore wind joint venture.

Archer has entered an agreement with Remold Invest to acquire floating offshore wind solutions developer Moreld Ocean Wind. The transaction includes a minority stake in US/French technology provider Ocergy.

Laborde Marine Management LLC has created a new affiliate, LabMar Inland LLC, that will focus on the US inland marine market, providing towing and pushboat services. Laborde Marine owns or operates 21 vessels, which service the offshore oil industry and other marine support activities. 

Eni and ITQuanta have agreed to form a joint venture, Eniquantic, with the aim of developing an integrated hardware and software quantum machine capable of solving complex problems and initiating specific and significant quantum computing applications to support the energy transition.

Nekkar ASA has entered into an agreement to acquire the majority of the maritime connectivity and digital service provider Globetech AS.

Elemental Energies, a wells and subsurface specialist, has acquired Norway-based Well Expertise AS

Ørsted has completed the acquisition of Eversource’s 50% share of Sunrise Wind, a 924-MW offshore wind farm located off the coast of New York.

GEV, a provider of wind turbine blade repair and maintenance, has established the North American Wind Academy in Texas. It offers blade repair courses and trade testing programs to assess technician competence.
