ABERDEEN, UK – Apache has extended CAN Group’s North Sea topsides inspection and integrity support services contract by two further years.

This secures more than 65 jobs, with CAN continuing to service operations from its Aberdeen base.

The company’s subsidiary ENGTEQ provides corrosion, structural and inspection engineering services for integrity management of Apache’s topsides pressure systems and structures.

Inspection services provided under the contract include advanced non-destructive testing techniques such as pulsed eddy current, non-intrusive inspection, corrosion mapping, time of flight diffraction, and UAV services.
