Veritas announces senior VP for marine acquisition group

    Veritas DGC Inc. has appointed Tor Haugland as senior vice president, marine acquisition. In his new role, Haugland will guide the global strategic direction of this technologically advanced and fast-growing business segment for the organization.

    (Houston)-Veritas DGC Inc. has appointed Tor Haugland as senior vice president, marine acquisition. In his new role, Haugland will guide the global strategic direction of this technologically advanced and fast-growing business segment for the organization.

In light of our recent advances in marine acquisition services, Haugland's demonstrated ability to contribute to the industry with game-changing innovations makes him a perfect choice to lead the group," notes Tim Wells, president, Veritas.

    Haugland joined Veritas in 2000. Prior to joining the organization, he held a number of senior management roles in other leading seismic companies and holds several patents for seismic acquisition technologies.
