(Oslo). Norway's Global Geo Services and UK geophysical services company Spectrum have agreed to merge their business interests. Spectrum's core activity is seismic data processing; its seismic data library is similar in size to GGS', containing 143,000 line km of 2D data, and 700 sq km of 3D.

GGS is a multi-client survey specialist. Last year, it was involved in new surveys west of Florida, offshore Syria, East Timor and the joint development area between Australia and East Timor. It also claims to maintain the largest multi-client library available in the Middle East.
