Saipem has acquired Paris-based Naval Energies’ floating wind business. The transaction comprises Naval Energies’ engineering expertise in floating units, modeling and simulation, and intellectual property rights.
Aker Solutions and AF Gruppen have signed a letter of intent to merge their offshore decommissioning operations into a jointly owned company. The transaction should go through later this year, subject to due diligence and regulatory approvals by the Norwegian Competition Authorities.
Subsea 7 has agreed to combine its renewables business with OHT ASA, subject to approvals.
