HOUSTON – OTC organizers say that they are continuing to closely monitor the situation around COVID-19 – but for now, plans continue to move forward for the 2020 event.
“The health and safety of event attendees, exhibitors, and OTC staff is our highest priority and will guide our decision-making,” show organizers said in an announcement on March 6.
“OTC is a key, global event providing technological advances to propel the offshore energy sector forward and registration numbers remain strong,” show organizers said. “Currently, we are working with international exhibitors regarding their ability to participate in OTC. We understand and respect that attendance is a personal decision.”
The announcement added: “As these fluid conditions evolve, we will thoughtfully and proactively provide updates.”
