    Aker BP drilling again on North Sea Volund field

    Aker BP has permission from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority for further production drilling on the Volund field in the North Sea.

    OSLO, Norway– Aker BP has permission from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority for further production drilling on the Volund field in the North Sea.

    The semisubmersibleDeepsea Stavanger should start the program on Feb. 24, drilling a side track from well 24/9-P-3 AH.

    Estimated length of the campaign is 42 days.
