Equinor withdraws from two North Sea fields

Equinor has completed the sale of interests in two Norwegian North Sea discoveries for a total of $470 million.

STAVANGER, Norway – Equinor has completed the sale of interests in two Norwegian North Sea discoveries for a total of $470 million.

One involved the transfer of a 77.8% operated stake in theKing Lear discovery in the south of the sector to Aker BP.

The other concerned non-operated interests of 42.38% in theTommeliten Unit (license 044 TA) and 30% of PL044 to Polish E&P company PGNiG.
