    Apache to speed up first oil from North Sea Garten field

    HOUSTON – Apache Corp.’s UK North Sea production averaged 51,000 boe/d during 3Q 2018, down slightly from the previous quarter due to maintenance programs.

    However, output should rise now that the fourth development well is online at theCallater field in the central sector.

    Apache also plans to accelerate initial production from its recentGarten discovery from early 2019 to the current quarter.

    The company had three rigs in service during the summer period.
