Six Prosafe rigs/vessels on offshore duty

Prosafe currently has six semisubmersible accommodation rigs/support vessels contracted for various offshore projects, most in the North Sea area.

TheSafe Scandinavia tender support vessel finished its program for Equinor at Oseberg East in the Norwegian North Sea at the end of June.

It is currently undergoing preparations for a five-year special period survey at Invergordon, northern Scotland, and from mid-August will start a firm seven-month assignment for Aker BP, providing accommodation support at the Ula platform in the North Sea.

TheSafe Caledonia continues to work for BP at the Clair Ridge platform complex west of Shetland in the UK sector. The Safe Boreas is currently contracted to support operations at Equinor’s Mariner platform until early October.

In May, theSafe Zephyrus started a 12-month contract for Equinor at the Johan Sverdrup field complex in the North Sea.

Elsewhere, theSafe Concordia has had a yard stay in Curacão and is currently undertaking maintenance work before mobilizing to Brazil to support MODEC’s FPSO operations. The firm 200-day contract should start in September.

Finally, theSafe Notos remains on a long-term contract to Petrobras off Brazil.

Two other Prosafe semis,Regaliaand Safe Bristolia and, are at present laid-up in Norway while the Safe Astoria is laid-up in Indonesia.
