M² Subsea to inspect Balmoral hull, production network

ABERDEEN, UK – ROV services specialist M²Subsea will perform an inspection program this year on Premier Oil’s Balmoralfloating production vessel (FPV) in the UK central North Sea.

The campaign will focus on the vessel’s hull, flowlines, umbilicals, risers, and subsea template.

TheBalmoral is a purpose built semisubmersible FPV located over the Balmoral field in blocks 16/21a and 16/21b.

M²Subsea will deploy its Mohican inspection class ROV in a water depth of 140 m (459 ft).
