C-Kore restores operations at PTTEP subsea project

YORK, UK – C-Kore Systems has helped bring a subsea field development back online for PTTEP Australasia.
The company supplied its subsea testing units, which monitor the health of electrical systems by measuring the insulation resistance and continuity directly onto subsea facilities.
They are said to be easy to deploy and to give quick, accurate results while eliminating the need to work with down-lines.
According to Tony Suphawat, electrical & instrument engineer at PTTEP, the devices quickly located the fault, optimizing the offshore operation.
