STAVANGER, Norway – Point Resources plans infill drilling on the Ringhorne and Ringhorne East fields in the Norwegian North Sea, along with acquisition of new 4D seismic data and two new exploration wells.
In addition, the company is moving toward a final investment decision on a further lifetime extension of the Balder field: this involves a re-deployment of the Jotun FPSO to the Balder area and a new infill drilling program on Balder.
Point recently succeededExxonMobil as operator of the three fields.
