Equinor cleared to access North Sea Sverdrup platform

Equinor has approval from the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority to use parts of the newly installed drilling platform at the Johan Sverdrup field complex in the North Sea.

OSLO, Norway – Equinor has approval from the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority to use parts of the newly installed drilling platform at the Johan Sverdrup field complex in the North Sea.

The consent applies to completion of equipment and areas during the installation phase and mechanical completion.

This is the second of four platforms to be installed and bridge linked inPhase 1 of the development.
