Total set to join offshore Congo license

CALGARY, Canada – Oryx Petroleum has entered an agreement to farm out 30% of its interest in the Haute Mer B exploration license offshore Congo (Brazzaville) to Total in a deal that could reach $13.3 million.

The agreement remains subject to approval by the other partners in Haute Mer B and the government of the Republic of Congo, but the transaction should close before the end of June.
