PERTH, Australia – Mubadala Petroleum has spudded the Manora-8 exploration well in the Gulf of Thailand.
According to partner Tap Oil, the main aim is to prove hydrocarbons in the 600 series sands that are the primary producing sands in the Manora field.
The well is targeting a three-way dip closure of the Manora Footwall A prospect in the upthrown (footwall) side west of the Manora Central block.
Planned TD is 6,420 ft (1,957 m) TVDSS.
