ABERDEEN, UK – Ithaca Energy expects to start-up the Harrier gas/condensate field tieback to the Greater Stella Area (GSA) platform in the UK central North Sea by mid-year.

All that remains to be completed is the tie-in of the Harrier infield pipeline to the existing GSA facilities.

Ithaca has also started planning for a potential infill well next year to maximize reserves recovery from the Stella field.

BP’s Vorlich development has been sanctioned as a tieback to the GSA’s semisubmersible platform FPF-1, with start-up anticipated in 2020.
