Saudi Aramco has discussed wide-ranging prospective commercial collaborations and co-operation agreements at the Saudi-U.S. CEO Forum in New York.

NEW YORKSaudi Aramco has discussed wide-ranging prospective commercial collaborations and co-operation agreements at the Saudi-U.S. CEO Forum in New York.

This was staged to promote bilateral business and co-operation between the two countries, and was scheduled to coincide with an official visit to the US by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Collaborations discussed included:

  • Schlumberger: A purchase agreement for downhole equipment and services and wellhead and surface control equipment.
  • Baker Hughes, a GE company: A purchase agreement for downhole equipment and services.
  • Halliburton: A purchase agreement for downhole equipment and services including well and rig services.
  • Weatherford: A purchase agreement for downhole equipment and a well testing services contract.
  • ARO Drilling: An offshore drilling services agreement.
  • Emerson Electric Co.: A purchase agreement for process automation systems and remote terminal units.
  • Texas Iron Works: A purchase agreement for downhole equipment services.
  • Honeywell International: A contract for main automation contractor services for a new process control system (or upgrades to existing systems).
  • Center for Strategic & International Studies: An agreement to advance joint research projects.
