OSLO, NorwayGolar LNG says the floating LNG (FLNG) vessel Hilli Episeyo conversion is nearing completion at Keppel Shipyard in Singapore.

All equipment has been installed and testing and pre-commissioning work will continue in Singapore until departure from the yard, in roughly six weeks.

Seawater trials, storing-up and potentially LNG bunkering will follow.

The mooring system has been completed and is en-route to the location offshore Cameroon ahead of hook-up and the start of commissioning and production at the end of September.

Field operator Perenco is on track with its scope of works.

Construction of the FSRUGolar Nanook that will support the Sergipe power plant project near Aracaju, Brazil, is on track for delivery toward year-end.

If builder Samsung is selected to perform the required modifications, delivery will likely be pushed back by around 10 months, limiting the time available for trading prior to the planned mid-2019 start-up.

A decision is due soon, as is a fully executed 25-year time charter party, both of which should facilitate theFSRU financing process.
