FLORVÅG, Norway — Framo has ordered equipment from Hydroniq Coolers for use in hydraulic pump modules that will be supplied to four newbuild FPSOs.
Hydroniq Coolers will supply two of its standardized large tube coolers certified for offshore application for each of the four modules. They will be integrated with Framo’s pump skids and will cool down the oil in the hydraulic pumps.
All eight tube coolers will be manufactured at Hydroniq’s headquarter at Ellingsøy close to Ålesund, Norway, then delivered to the Framo Fusa complex for marine pumping systems, southeast of Bergen.
