EnerMech establishes Congo base to support TotalEnergies crane contract

TotalEnergies EP Congo has awarded EnerMech a five-year contract to provide crane and lifting maintenance at a new facility to be built at Pointe-Noire, Congo.
ABERDEEN, UK— TotalEnergies EP Congo has awarded EnerMech a five-year contract to provide crane and lifting maintenance at a new facility to be built at Pointe-Noire, Congo.
The work scope extends to supply onshore and offshore parts for three offshore production centers sectors including supply of riser pulling systems, mooring and tensioning systems.
To perform these duties, EnerMech has established a new entity, EnerMech Congo, and has sub-contracted local company Congo Services to assist in delivery.
Currently it is recruiting local Congolese personnel to onshore contract support roles with the sub-contractor providing an experienced local maintenance crew.
EnerMech previously worked with TotalEnergies on other African projects, and it collaborated previously on the company’s Moho Nord project offshore Congo with Technip.
