CGG has signed an agreement with Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries to re-image vintage 3D seismic data over blocks 25a, 25b, 26 and 27.

MASSY, FranceCGG has signed an agreement with Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries to re-image vintage 3D seismic data over blocks 25a, 25b, 26 and 27.

All are in deep water offshore Trinidad. The program has firm industry support and will deliver early results in late February, and it includes well and geological products to be issued via CGG’s GeoWells platform.

The company will re-image more than 5,500 sq km of 3D seismic over the underexplored eastern Columbus Basin, using its TL-FWI imaging technology.
