OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has completed its frontier seismic acquisition season.
Dolphin Geophysical managed the survey and theArtemis Atlantic acquired around 5,600 km (3,479 mi) of 2D data in the northern Barents Sea. This was a continuation of surveys that NPD has been conducting in the southeastern and northern Barents Sea since 2011.
Good weather and relatively few technical issues meant that this latest campaign finished nearly one month ahead of schedule.
The ship has arrived in Hammerfest for demobilization and a crew change.
