OSLO, Norway — TMC Compressors will provide a large-capacity marine compressed air system to MODEC’s FPSO Errea Wittu, for Exxon Mobil’s Uaru development, which is located 200 km offshore Guyana.
The package will include compressors for control and service air on board the FPSO. TMC will manufacture and assemble the equipment in Europe.
MODEC subsidiary Offshore Frontier Solutions has EPC responsibility for the FPSO, which features MODEC’s M350TM newbuild hull.
The topside will have capacity to produce about 250,000 bbl/d of oil, associated gas treatment at 540 MMcf/d, water injection capacity of 350,000 bbl/d and produced water capacity of 300,000 bbl/d.
