    Maersk contracts wellhead support systems for Culzean in the North Sea

    Plexus Holdings has agreed to a new four-year contract with Maersk Oil North Sea UK for the provision of wellhead, mudline suspension systems, and associated services.

    LONDON – Plexus Holdings has agreed to a new four-year contract with Maersk Oil North Sea UK for the provision of wellhead, mudline suspension systems, and associated services.

    The initial purchase order involves preparation and supply of POS-GRIP HP/HT surface wellhead systems and Tersus mudline suspension equipment on a stand-by basis, ready to mobilize should relief wells need to be drilled during development of theCulzean platforms in the UK central North Sea.

    Plexus could optionally supply further wellhead equipment for future appraisal wells in the Culzean area during the contract term, which could be extended by another year.
