FLORENCE, Italy – Premier Oil Indonesia has contracted GE Oil & Gas to supply subsea trees and wellheads for the Bison, Iguana, and Gajah Puteri field developments in the Natuna Sea.
The scope extends to rental tools and field service support during the installation and commissioning phase.
Initially, Premier will order three sets of subsea trees and wellheads with deliveries expected by early 1Q 2018.
GE will assemble the subsea trees at its facility in Batam, Indonesia.
The package will include the company’s Tree on Mudline series and the SG1 wellhead system, suitable for shallow-water operations using jackups.
In a separate development, GE, PDI, andEnerMech have teamed up to form eMERge, designed to support new North Sea E&P operators maximize economic recovery of their reserves.
The alliance will offer a range of production and operational support services, and will focus on identifying opportunities to increase productivity while at the same time cutting operating costs and downtime through unplanned outages.
Services offered range from project management, topsides and subsea engineering, to construction and commissioning, and field optimization.
GE will contribute its digital solutions, products, services and financing capabilities; PDI project management and engineering; and EnerMech installation, commissioning and operational capabilities.
