MOSCOW – Lukoil says cumulative production at the Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea has reached 1 MM tons.

To datethree horizontal side tracked wells have been completed and construction of a fourth is under way.

Alongside, facilities are also coming together for the field’s second development phase: an offshore ice-resistant fixed platform (IRP-2) and a living quarter platform (LQP-2).

The substructures were loaded out and installed at the prescribed offshore locations.

Lukoil is targeting eventual annual production from the field of 6 MM tons of oil.
