Three Noble jackups on assignment in the Middle East

Noble Corp. has secured a one-well contract offshore Qatar for the Noble Houston Colbert, with drilling expected to start next month.

HOUSTONNoble Corp. has secured a one-well contract offshore Qatar for the Noble Houston Colbert, with drilling expected to start next month.

In June, the rig completed a drilling assignmentoffshore Argentina.

Another jackup, theNoble Alan Hay, entered a shipyard this summer for a scheduled inspection and maintenance program, which was completed in September. The rig has since returned to service offshore the United Arab Emirates.

In July, the jackupNoble Mick O’Brien started an estimated 400-day contract in the Middle East, while last month, the jackup Noble Regina Allen began providing accommodation services in the North Sea under a new contract.

Also in theNorth Sea, the Noble Lloyd Noble, having mobilized from Singapore, is jacked up and undergoing final acceptance testing before starting a four-year (primary term) contract.

At the conclusion of 3Q, one of the company’s eight semisubmersibles, the Noble Paul Romano, remained under contract with a program that should last through the rest of this year.

Six of the company’s eight drillships are under contract, with theNoble Sam CroftandNoble Tom Madden currently warm stacked in the US Gulf of Mexico.
