RIO DE JANEIROPetrobras’ oil production in Brazil averaged 2.19 MMb/d last month, a 2% drop compared to September.

This was mainly due to stoppages for maintenance on the FPSOsCidade Anchieta and Capixaba, both serving the Parque das Baleias development, and the FPSOCidade Angra dos Reis at the Lula field in the Santos basin.

The company’s presalt oil and natural gas production (operated by Petrobras and partners’ share) was also down at 1.42 MMboe/d.

However, the company and its partners set a new daily presalt oil production record of 1.23 MMbbl on Oct. 11.
