PARIS – Total has discovered oil in the Bulgarian sector of the Black Sea, the company said in its latest results statement.

However, it did not issue further details.

Total E&P Bulgaria operatesblock 1-21 Khan Asparuh in the exclusive economic zone of the Bulgarian sector. It planned to use a drillship for ultra-deepwater drilling activity.
