Offshore staff
PARIS –Total has signed an exploration contract with Bulgaria covering the offshore Khan Asparuh license. The 14,220-sq km (5,490-sq mi) block is in the Black Sea 80 km (50 mi) from shore and has water depths between 100 and 2,000 m (328 and 6,562 ft).
Total will have a 40% stake, with OMV and Repsol each holding 30%.
The tract was originally awarded under a licensing round that opened on Jan. 31.
