STAVANGER, Norway - Delta Energy Services will supply inspection and expediting services to the Nord Stream 2pipeline project in the Baltic Sea.
The program involves construction of a 1,200-km (745-mi), 48-in.pipeline to transport gas from fields onshore Russia to Europe.
Delta will provide inspection personnel to cover all areas ofthe project over the next three years.
Initially, the focus will be on plate and pipe mills in Germany and Austria, with further work to follow on valve and pig trap packages, the landfall construction site, and offshore pipelay operations.
