RPSEA to highlight ultra-deepwater technology advances

The Best of RPSEA 10 years of Research – Ultra-Deepwater and Onshore Technology Conference will be held on Aug. 30-31, 2016, at the San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center in Galveston, Texas.

GALVESTON, Texas– The Best of RPSEA 10 years of Research – Ultra-Deepwater and Onshore Technology Conference will be held on Aug. 30-31, 2016, at the San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center in Galveston, Texas.

The event will highlight technology advances in sessions covering the small producer, unconventional resources, andultra-deepwater. Some projects are already commercialized and others are well on their way to industry adoption.

Four tracks of technical sessions will include advances in: low permeability resources; well completions; environmental impact mitigation techniques; addressing metocean issues; environmental and safety risk reduction; effective use of reservoir and geoscience techniques; drilling and interventions;ultra-deepwater floating systems and risers; subsea power systems; measurement and system integrity; and inspection, maintenance, and repairs.

RPSEA will also host a member meeting to update future plans and activities.
