WOODBRIDGE, UKHyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has commissioned Amarinth to supply utility and fresh water pumps for ADMA-OPCO’s new platform for the Nasr oil field, 130 km (81 mi) northwest of Abu Dhabi.

The UK manufacturer has supplied numerous pump packages in the past to ADMA-OPCO and claims to have a sound understanding of the operator’s needs.

It also recently provided pumps to HHI for BP’sQuad 204 FPSO west of Shetland in UK waters.

The stainless steel utility and chilled water pumps for theNasr full field development must operate at higher temperatures and pressures than normal utility pumps. They feature heavy-duty baseplates to meet ADMA-OPCO’s vibration requirement, with fully enclosed drip pans and bespoke wear rings.

Amarinth adds that the order was completed with a full certification and documentation package, with a level of content not usually associated with ISO pumps.
