ESBJERG, Denmark – ROV tooling/subsea technology specialist MacArtney has acquired Canadian company EMO Marine Technologies.
EMO Marine, founded in 2012, develops and manufactures fiber optic video/data transmission systems forsubsea and marine applications.
MacArtney sees potential to develop a market for oil and gas, shipbuilding and other sectors onCanada’s east coast, particularly around Nova Scotia. The acquisition executes MacArtney’s commitment to being a global provider of underwater technology solutions with strong local presence.
The company has incorporated EMO Marine into a new division, MacArtney Canada, which will market and sell the group’s entire product range in the region.
