HONG KONG– CNOOC Ltd. has appointed Yang Hua as CEO and executive director.

He remains chairman and succeedsLi Fanrong, who resigned as CEO, president, and executive director.

The company also appointed Yuan Guangyu as president and executive director and Chen Wei as compliance officer and general counsel.
