PARIS – CGG GeoSoftware has completed the launch of a series of new releases from across its reservoir characterization product portfolio.

The delivery ofJason 9.5, HampsonRussell 10.1, InsightEarth 3.0.2, PowerLog 9.5, EarthModel FT 9.5, and VelPro 9.5 marks the next stage in the company’s strategy to offer a full suite of complementary software solutions that integrate multi-disciplinary workflows to overcome subsurface challenges in all types of reservoirs.

New methodologies that reduce inversion time, along with techniques to compute entire volumes of pore pressure from velocity volumes, reflect GeoSoftware’s commitment to improve efficiency for interpretation experts. Asset teams can pinpoint areas of interest to target and derive greatergeological knowledge from the seismic data, the company said.

New quality control tools and improved capabilities for rock physics and anisotropic inversion are among the new features. Additionally, easier data loading, better data management, and an enhanced user experience will reduce project cycle times, GeoSoftware continued.

The applications offer workflows that can be tailored to fit specific project needs, offering flexibility and driving collaboration. With the combination of these latest versions of Jason, HampsonRussell, InsightEarth, PowerLog, EarthModel FT and VelPro, the company said that clients can find a suite of integrated technology to enhance their seismic-to-simulation workflow that they can plug into their own preferred petrotechnical platform and processes.
