Offshore staff
HOUSTON – Erin Energy says the light well intervention (LWI) vessel Island Constructor is en route from Norway to the Oyo field offshore Nigeria.
On arrival it will perform LWI services on theOyo-8 well, following failure of the well’s sub-surface controlled sub-surface safety valve to open during production restriction measures.
Erin expects the operation to take a few days to complete, with production likely to be restored from the well later this month.
