HOUSTON -CAMAC Energy Inc. encountered four new oil and gas reservoirs in a development well on the Oyo field with total gross hydrocarbon thickness of 112 ft (34 m) based on results from the logging-while-drilling data, reservoir pressure measurement, and reservoir fluid sampling.

The well will be completed horizontally as a producing well in the Pliocene formation of the central Oyo field. Oyo-7 will also be completed horizontally in the Pliocene formation of the centralOyo field.

Oyo-8, drilled to a TD of 6,059 ft (1,847 m), is located offshore Nigeria in OML 120. Production commenced on the field during 4Q 2009 from two subsea wells connected to theArmada Perdana FPSO, and flows at a rate of 25,000 b/d of oil.

The Oyo field, one of the first oil discoveries made offshore Nigeria, is located roughly 43 mi (70 km) off the coast in a water depth of 1,345 ft (410 m). CAMAC Energy serves as the operator of Oyo, holding a 100% interest.
