HOUSTON– Rolls-Royce will showcase its latest offshore power and propulsion solutions and MTU engine technologies at this year’s OTC at NRG Park in Houston.

The company will feature the MTU Frac Pack and the MTU S83 Frac Bi-Fuel Kit in addition to a Rolls-Royce offshore winch simulator.

The MTU Frac Pack is powered by the MTU Series 4000 T95 Tier 4 final engine, and is available in a 12-cylinder configuration that offers three power ratings: 1678 kW (2250 bhp), 1864 kW (2500 bhp) and 1939 kW (2600 bhp).

The MTU Frac Bi-Fuel Kit features an integrated bi-fuel control architecture designed specifically for well service and pressure pumping applications. This technology allows operators to use natural gas as a fuel source for their diesel-powered equipment. The Frac Bi-Fuel Kit is available to be added to any MTU 12V 4000 S83 engine.

A winch simulator alongside a vessel model and scale model of the MTU 16V 4000 will also be on display.

Rolls-Royce is exhibiting at booth 4163.
