TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has a data licensing agreement with an unnamed oil company to supply 3D EM data for Norway’s 23rd licensing round in the Barents Sea.
EMGS’ multi-client data library covers 44,000 sq km (16,988 sq mi) in the Norwegian sector of the Barents Sea, in addition to around 10,000 sq km (3,861 sq mi) in the Norwegian Sea and 1,400 sq km (540 sq mi) in the North Sea.
