Offshore staff
HOUSTON – BPZ Energy says the Corvina CX15-14D development well has been completed offshore Peru and has been averaging 600 b/d of oil.
The well was drilled to the west of the six previousCorvina CX-15 wells. It encountered the anticipated continuity of sands and higher reservoir pressures.
The next well in the sequence, CX15-8D, is being drilled, southwest of CX15-14D, targeting the Upper Zorritos formation where sands from other Corvina wells are producing, as well as evaluating the potential of the deeper Middle Zorritos.
BPZ’s Albacora A-27D development well, also offshore Peru, is expected to enter production this month.
