Colombia FLNG vessel nears completion in China

A ceremony was recently held at the Wison Offshore & Marine dry dock in Nantong to celebrate the undocking of the Caribbean FLNG facility.

SHANGHAI, China – A ceremony was recently held at the Wison Offshore & Marine dry dock in Nantong to celebrate the undocking of the Caribbean FLNG facility.

Wison is building the vessel for EXMAR, with Black & Veatch responsible for engineering and procurement of topsides equipment as well as providing its patented PRICO LNG liquefaction technology.

The duo are completing commissioning activities on the facility in preparation for sailaway and delivery to its location in Colombia by end-2Q 2015.

Wison is now using the area for fabrication of a barge-basedfloating regasification unit for the EXMAR/Pacific Midstream Holding Corp. joint venture.
