TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has secured a $4.3-million contract to provide multi-client data offshore the Faroe Islands.

The agreement takes in late sales of an existing multi-client dataset that the company acquired in 2012 (the Brugdan-Rosebank Line) and pre-funding of an extension of that dataset.

BOA Thalassa is expected to acquire the new data next month over a period of 10 days after completing an assignment for Tullow Oil in the North Sea.
