EnQuest lengthens Petrofac North Sea operations and maintenance contract

LONDON – Petrofac will continue to support EnQuest’s UK North Sea assets, after securing a $630-million operations and maintenance contract that could run for up to 10 years.
It supersedes an initial five-year contract awarded toPetrofac in 2013.
The company will continue to provide operations and maintenance services onEnQuest’s Thistle, Heather, and Northern Producer offshore facilities, along with the FPSO EnQuest Producer, which is undergoing final finishing and commissioning work ahead of its deployment to the Alma/Galia field.
