STAVANGER, Norway – DONG Energy has scheduled repair work for this summer at the Siri area in the Danish North Sea, according to partner Noreco.

Production at the Nini and Cecilie satellite fields has been shut in since last July due to damage to thehost platform on the Siri field.

Assuming the rectification program is successful – it includes repair and maintenance of a compressor – production is expected to resume from the entire area. In the meantime Nini and Cecilie will produce with atemporary solution that involves loading the produced oil directly to a tanker. However, this technique will likely be less stable than normal production.

Nini restarted production early this month, and Cecilie is expected to come back online in the spring.

As for exploration, Noreco expects to participate this year in wells on the Verdande structure offshore Norway, due to spud later in 1Q; an appraisal well in 2Q on last year’sGohta discovery in the Barents Sea; and on the Xana structure offshore Denmark in October.
