MOS to convert jackup for accommodation role

AJMAN, UAE – Millennium Offshore Services (MOS) is acquiring a LeTourneau 116 Cantilever jackup from an unnamed drilling contractor for $25 million.

The rig will be converted to an accommodation vessel renamedMOS Frontier and owned by the company’s MOS Frontier LLC subsidiary.

Recently, MOS received a non-binding letter of intent from an international oil and gas company to charter the vessel for work in theAsia/Pacific region.
